1916 Germany Submarine Mail, Berlin German Insurance Bank, 'Lighthouse and Ship', Corner Margins (Full set, Watermark, Only 200 issued, Rare, MNH)

Extremely rare complete set of 1916 Germany Submarine Mail. Second issue, only 200 were printed. Watermark of oblique wavy lines. Mint never hinged, stamps condition shown from both sides.
These stamps were issued for use on items transported by the U-boats. The face values of these stamps covered the cost of postage, as well as the insurance premiums on the items.
The same sets were sold on Cherrystone for $5,000 (2007) and $4,250 (2011).
